TVC Responsibilities:
As a deacon, I lead our usher team leads, working alongside TVC staff and fellow deacons to problem solve and strategize solutions for seating, overflow spaces, and special services.

When and how did the Lord save you?
Throughout the first 29 years of my life, the Lord was faithfully preparing my heart and laying a solid foundation for me to know Him. In 1999, He graciously opened my eyes to the truth of the gospel—that Jesus gave His life for me—and to the reality that I belong to Him.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
In the summer of 2005, my family and I made the decision to join TVC after visiting and attending services for a few months.

If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
“Adult Parenting: When Motherhood Becomes Surrender” – This talk would explore how parenting adult children often becomes less about raising them and more about trusting God with the people you deeply love. Many parents prepare for diapers, school, sports, and graduations, but very few prepare for releasing their children. Adult parenting can feel disorienting, complicated, lonely, and deeply emotional at times.

If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?

Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
I would be friends with Nancy Drew so that we could solve mysteries together!
